The General Assembly

The General Assembly is the supreme authority of FAWEESWA and the highest decision maker made up of all members of FAWEESWA.It comprises full members and associate members. The FAWEESWA constitution dictates that the General Assembly should be held annually to deliberate on organisational business and every three years elections for a new Executive Board are held. The mandate of the Executive is to provide overall policy guidance to FAWEESWA on behalf of the FAWEESWA General Assembly. The National Executive Committee is composed of the following:

  • Vice President : Professor Thuli Nhlengetfwa
  • Honorary Treasurer
  • Secretary: Ms Xolile Lokotfwako
  • Members: Nokukhanya Musi
  • Member: Mr Humphrey Mavuso

The Secretariat

The Secretariat is composed of full and part time staff responsible for the day to day professional and administrative operations of the organisation. Senior staff of FAWEESWA include The Executive Director, Programme Manager, the Finance, Programme Officer, Communication Officer and Administration Officer.
